Fall Break

Good morning!

For all of us Michigan students this lovely Wednesday feels like a Monday since we had Monday and Tuesday off for Fall Break. Last week was very stressful for me so a break was welcomed. Luckily the stressful week meant that I could relax during break.

Saturday I was on the color guard for the football game. As much as I'd like to say that it was a blast, it was raining and freezing cold. But we did win 45-0 so there was a good outcome.

Sunday I watched lots of movies and TV shows, in fact I think I stayed in pajamas all day.



Monday it was time for a fondue party! It was the first time that I've made fondue and I must say, both the chocolate and cheese turned out to be delicious.

Tuesday was time for shopping with my friend Milena. She picked up a great pair of heeled grey suede booties. I didn't buy any clothes but I did get a bar of chocolate with thyme in it. It was interesting, and good to add to my collection, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.


And now we're back to the daily grind until Thanksgiving comes along.

    oh yah i would say you majorly won that game!! i remember saying the score on the tv and thought wow. my cousin attends u of m right now, my other cousin attends the med school after going to u of m for undergrad my sister used to live in ann arbor and attends eastern michigan and then another cousin attends central michigan :-)

What you didn't know about nursing school

So usually I do a Sunday post but I just didn't have time this weekend! I had an anatomy test at 9 on Monday morning so I basically spent all weekend studying (there was a little time spent watching the super bowl and relaxing with friends.) But since I have been spending so much time doing school work this semester I decided I would give you a glimpse into what it's like! Whining While Working Out

I know I haven't blogged in a while...I do think about it a lot but I haven't had anything exciting to say! I'm still just babysitting and working out. But working out is the key part...I have had some REALLY hard workouts. Sunday (mother's day) I went out intending to run for 70 minutes and by about 45 I thought I was going to die. I mean not really die but I thought about asking someone if I could borrow their phone so I could get a ride home. It. was. awful. I mean I guess this is true...but I was pathetic. Then Monday I reluctantly put on my running shoes but then I looked outside and it was raining and I just decided to do laundry instead. Tuesday I had an okay 40 minutes on the elliptical while watching Sex and the City (thanks for lending it to me Sara!). I also visited my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins so it was a nice day.
