Bye Bye May!

Since I've been doing Wednesday confessions, I haven't really let you know what I've been up to in the month of May. Here's some of the highlights.

We started off commissioning the Seniors to be Ensigns and 2nd Lieutenants in the Navy and Marine Corps.

 The next day, I went to commencement where the CEO of twitter spoke. Watch his awesome speech here.

A few days later we celebrated Meghan's birthday with a nice dinner at Sava's.

And we went to a Michigan baseball game.



And had a bonfire at Aaron's house.



Meghan and I went to Cedar Point.



Then this past weekend Dolly and Brodie came to visit! And we all went up to Sean's to celebrate Memorial Day on the lake!



It's been quite a month. Let's see what June brings us!

    so excited for the month of june. the highlight of my may is making the move out of my apt! woo hoo! excited for a vacation in june!

Super Tuesday

Yes, I know it's Wednesday, but I went to bed at 9 last night (I'm a grandma) and all the states hadn't reported their winners. If you don't know what Super Tuesday is, its the day where there are the most primaries for the primary election. To win the Republican nomination a candidate must get 1,144 delegates and over 400 of them were at stake yesterday. So at the end of the night last night Romney had won Arkansas, Idaho, Virginia, Ohio, Massachusetts (his home state) and Vermont. Santorum won North Dakota, Tennessee and Oklahoma, Gingrich won his home state or Georgia and Ron Paul didn't win anything. Since these results were so divided it really didn't lead the Republicans any closer to choosing a nominee. Romney gives his victory speech in Boston. But that is all very technical. Even though Santorum has won a few states, to me it seems HIGHLY likely that Romney will win the nomination. For another candidate to win, they would have to start domintat...

Whining While Working Out

I know I haven't blogged in a while...I do think about it a lot but I haven't had anything exciting to say! I'm still just babysitting and working out. But working out is the key part...I have had some REALLY hard workouts. Sunday (mother's day) I went out intending to run for 70 minutes and by about 45 I thought I was going to die. I mean not really die but I thought about asking someone if I could borrow their phone so I could get a ride home. It. was. awful. I mean I guess this is true...but I was pathetic. Then Monday I reluctantly put on my running shoes but then I looked outside and it was raining and I just decided to do laundry instead. Tuesday I had an okay 40 minutes on the elliptical while watching Sex and the City (thanks for lending it to me Sara!). I also visited my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins so it was a nice day.
